It IS possible to get a 100 in each ability
I remember the joy of playing Sierra games, the absolute thrill of seeing the first screenshot of Hero's Quest in a magazine, and the butterflies in my stomach when playing it the first time. And dying, oh the poor hero dying. And my buggy pirated amiga version, impossible to complete, but joyously replaced by a legal real bought PC version which took me all the way through the many wonderful moments of the game.

I downloaded Hero’s Quest aka Quest for Glory I, (I’m using windows Xp, and a DOS box) and there is no sound at all :’( What am I doing wrong?

this is the one that started it all - playing this game is what got me into computers. i *love* this game - so much that i’m probably going to buy an old x86 just so i can play it again (if i can find an IBM PS/2, that’d be gravy!)

This is the first in an all-time classic series! I remember countless hours playing this with my dad when I was about 10...ahh the memories

This ENTIRE series is a classic. This game is arguably one of the primier RPG games of its time. I miss the Sierra games of the 80’s, and early to mid 90’s. Sierra ALWAYS did their games justice and you can not say that about 95% of the games out there today. This game is easily a thumbs up game! And the series gets an equal number of thumbs up! If you skip this game you’re skipping one of the classics.

This is the premier action/rpg game of its era. Absolutely fantastic. It’s almost impossible without cheating to get full 100 stats on everything in this version. Many a good memory.
