We all know Commander Keen, so I don't think I'm gonna tell alot here. It's just one of the most played platform games ever, I think. You crashed on a planet and have to pogo-stick through lots of levels to get back. Mission: get back vital parts of your spaceship, which the Vorticons stashed away on several Martian cities.
This is the first game of the first trilogy: Invasion of the Vorticons.
The other two parts of the trilogy: The Earth Explodes and Keen Must Die! are unfortunately not shareware.

As a kid I spent a great deal of the hours in my day playing this game over and over. This is a great title by id software, the creators of Doom.
