Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel is an adventure game released in 1987 by Sierra On-Line, designed by former police officer Jim Walls. It's the first installment in the Police Quest series and is known for its realistic portrayal of police procedures.

The Games Machine UK (1998): "As with all Sierra's recent adventures, the parser can deal with most likely inputs, and interaction is very good. The car is tricky to control at first and the sound lets the game down slightly, but Police Quest is a large adventure with more than one solution and should keep even hardened text-only-adventure-players amused and involved for quite some time."
